This was my first costume breakdown job, assisting Daisy Blower.

Leather Jacket

I hand painted the lettering & roses of the cover Romeo leather jacket, matching the original design.

Aging down sneakers

The brightness of the white sneakers was knocked back with a wash of sandy-grey and then aged down to feel lived in. The shoes required varying levels of breakdown based on character, location, and their place within the story. It was also a process of working out appropriate techniques depending on different materials and treatment of shoes.

Stencilling

& Juliet costumes required a lot of stencilling on plain sourced pieces to customise them, and fit them into the fantasy Jacobean- streetwear costume design. Paint splatters were often added to give depth and break up block-colour costume pieces.
