Prop design & making

I was given the brief of making strange objects that could be read as abstract, miscellaneous sex toys. Working closely with comedian Jazz Emu we decided to go with an alien sci-fi aesthetic. I was given a tight budget but total creative freedom to create strange props for the actors to play around with on stage.

Tentacle Tree

I made this papier-mâché tentacle tree with 3D suckers out of recycled cardboard, and tissue paper.

repurposed rocking horse toy

I found this old rocking horse on the street. I spray painted it green and made a strange horned alien shape around the original horse head. I then made a huge dildo to go on the base of it which was removable so that we could have a gag in the video of showing it pixilated and and with Jazz sitting on it (suggesting its inside of him)

Alien vulva bubble machine

I bought a bubble machine and then made this gooey alien vulva frame to go round it
